Anyone who is in the hobby of model trains, railroad historical societies, individual railfans or railroad employees has an interest in the corporate images of railroads. The logos of those railroads represent the railroads' history and many of them have passed from the scene.

When Signal Signs started making railroad heralds in 1967 it was a different world than it is today. During that time we have collected the art from various sources whenever we could, striving for accuracy in the design, lettering, colors and recording the changes as they occurred.

Many times the customers themselves would help us in getting the designs or colors more accurate as they are closer to the railroad and may have direct knowledge of such detail.

Signal Signs has kept up with the times and has made the transition into the computer age so now we can offer just about any sign in various sizes including photographs made with our new process. We have also expanded our product line with the ability to do 1/8 inch Masonite signs, mouse pads, and other specialty items.

Our 40 years of experience has showed us that the enthusiasm and desire to remember and save railroad history has not waned but has gotten even stronger. For that we can all be proud.
